With the introduction of Accsoon’s CineEye 2S Pro in 2021 (article here), a relatively affordable yet very capable video transmission system was launched. Now the company is offering an extended bundle with one transmitter and two receiver modules for $899 (the regular kit with one TX and one RX costs $649).

As per the press release, this bundle is being launched mainly due to the social distancing regulations in place. On a busy film set, it’s not always easy to keep your distance, let alone focus on your work at the same time. Wireless video equipment helps because you can “park” a number of team members behind monitors off to the side.

The new Accsoon CineEye 2S Pro Bundle helps you do just that because you get not one, but two receivers that can be fed 1080p video in less than 60ms from just one transmitter. So you end up with two remote monitors, one portable for the director maybe and one stationary for clients and producers.

Accsoon was one of the first brands to incorporate both 2.4GHz and 5GHz video transmission in their products and according to the press release “the patented Gemini dual-band 5.8Ghz and 2.4Ghz transmission system reduces interference and ensures stable monitoring at over 1200 feet away“.

This kit does not contain any new products, just an additional transmitter. So all the features of the CineEye 2S Pro are still available (read our initial article here): Besides the ability to send to the dedicated receivers, you can also transmit HD videos to up to 4 iOS or Android smartphones or tablets.

This requires the Accsoon Go app, which not only displays the incoming video but also enables advanced analytics tools. In addition, you can stream the incoming feed from the camera live to the internet via your favorite online video platform.
