Android News / Samsung Promo Videos Show The Use Of Recycled Materials In Galaxy Devices

Samsung has released a series of videos promoting the five new products it launched during the Galaxy Unpacked event last month — Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, and Galax Buds 2 Pro. The latest promotion efforts focus on the sustainability side of things. The company is highlighting how it made the new products using recycled materials.

Starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Samsung says this phone uses post-consumer materials on its power key, connector brackets around the hinge, and the top speaker assembly. The display connector cap and the physical key brackets are made of repurposed fishing nets. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 also uses post-consumer materials for several components. These include the receiver deco, display connector cap, side key, upper antenna bracket, and dual speaker system. You’ll find repurposed fishing nets on physical key brackets of the clamshell foldable.

On the Galaxy Watch 5 series, Samsung has used post-consumer materials on both physical keys. Such recycled materials are found all over the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro’s charging case. Even the buds’ body uses the same material. The charging case also uses repurposed fishing nets in large amounts. It appears the latest Samsung TWS (true wireless) earbuds are entirely made of recycled materials, at least that’s what these promo videos suggest.

Along with these videos highlighting the recycled materials used on its latest products, Samsung has also released a video that shows off the official protective cases for the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The company offers a decent collection of cases for the big foldable. Since the phone supports the S Pen but doesn’t come with a built-in holster, the Standing Cover with a detachable S Pen silo is an ideal solution. You also get a detachable stand here, allowing you to use the S Pen more effectively.
