iCorp Technologies is partnering with Quectel Wireless Solutions, a global IoT solutions provider, on its new Connectivity-as-a-Service (CaaS) which has been launched for customers in EMEA.

Proclaiming itself the largest Quectel distributor in southern Africa based on revenue, iCorp will offer this service as part of its comprehensive portfolio of IoT solutions to support ongoing development and growth in the IoT segment.

Quectel’s CaaS proposition is available in more than 190 countries and via over 500 network operators. Customers can simply add connectivity to their module and antenna purchases and be confident that they will access world-class connectivity for the life of their IoT device. The service will be extended to Asia-Pacific and Latin America customers later in 2022.

As an important part of its QuecCloud service, Quectel’s CaaS will complement its module and antenna business and enable the end-to-end deployment of its customers’ IoT solutions. This provides the opportunity to reduce complexity, bills-of-material (BoM) and total cost of ownership (TCO).

Any IoT connectivity solution needs to be underpinned by an IoT platform. Quectel’s Connectivity Management Platform (CMP) today manages over 30 million connections in Asia and gives customers complete control of and visibility into their IoT deployments, allowing them to simplify and automate administration to save time and costs.

The latest technologies are supported, including global coverage for all network frequency bands (2G, 3G, 4G, LTE-M and NB-IoT) and the integration of increasingly important SIM innovations like eSIM (embedded SIM) and iSIM (integrated SIM).

Quectel’s CaaS offering is also backed by a commercial proposition that meets customers’ ever-evolving requirements. The objective of this is to allow for flexibility and growth in line with its customers’ businesses, ensuring that they are never financially penalised for unexpected events or changes to their IoT solutions, wherever they operate in the world.
